Vetting Process
The work that happens before you ever meet a candidate.
Most families never see what goes into finding an exceptional caregiver. Before anyone is introduced to your family, they have already been reviewed, interviewed, screened, and verified β multiple times, by multiple people.
Fewer than 5% of applicants make it through. The ones who do are extraordinary.
Our seven-step screening process.
This process applies to every nanny and sitter we place, regardless of placement type.
Application & Resume Review
We require a minimum of five years of recent, paid childcare experience before anyone moves forward. If the experience is not there, neither is the candidate.
In-Depth Interviews
Candidates participate in a series of interviews with our experienced childcare team, assessing professionalism, demeanor, communication style, and genuine passion.
Reference Checks
We contact previous employers and childcare references directly to understand reliability, work ethic, and relationships with the families they served.
Social Media Screening
We conduct a thorough review of each candidate's social media presence to ensure a professional, child-friendly online image.
FCRA-Compliant Background Check
Includes Social Security Number trace, criminal history search, national sex offender registry search, motor vehicle record check, and OFAC report.
Pediatric CPR & First Aid Verification
Every caregiver we place holds a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, verified directly.
Legal Requirements & Credential Verification
Every candidate must be 21 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States. Degree and credential verification is completed. No exceptions.
What this means for your family.
By the time a caregiver sits across from you, the hard work is already done. You are not meeting a stranger. You are meeting someone who has earned their place, through a process designed to protect your family and honor your trust.
