Families vacationing at Rocky Mountain ski resorts needed care they could count on in an unfamiliar place. Local families needed a long-term nanny who truly fit their household. Neither was well served by a Facebook group, a job board, or a cold, one-size-fits-all agency.
So we built something different: a regional agency that vets like a top-tier firm and communicates like a trusted friend. Founded by a former professional nanny and Newborn Care Specialist, Summit was designed by people who know what families are really looking for, because we've done this work ourselves.

Ashley worked as a professional nanny in private homes for more than a decade before starting Summit Nannies to make quality childcare easier for families to find and trust. Her career began as a Newborn Care Specialist, where she spent hundreds of hours supporting infants and their parents through those early days. She also worked as a nurse assistant in pediatrics, caring for children with special needs. That experience shaped her belief that every child is different, and the right caregiver makes all the difference. Ashley founded Summit Nannies to bridge a gap she saw firsthand. Families vacationing at Rocky Mountain ski resorts need care they can count on in an unfamiliar place, and local families need a long-term nanny who fits their household. Today she works behind the scenes, sourcing and carefully vetting every nanny on the team, and she leads the on-call babysitting team. Her mission is simple: to elevate childcare, so parents can relax knowing their kids are in great hands.
