We start by thoroughly reviewing each candidate’s resume to confirm they have at least five years of recent paid childcare experience.. This experience may include:

Candidates must participate in a series of in-depth interviews with our experienced childcare professionals. We assess their skills, certifications, education, and passion for working with children. We contact the candidate’s previous employers and childcare references to verify their reliability, work ethic, and childcare experience. This step ensures that we only present nannies or babysitters with a proven, trustworthy background.

We conduct an extensive review of each candidate’s social media presence across various platforms. This helps us confirm that our candidates maintain a professional, child-friendly online image in line with Summit Nannies’ values.

Every candidate undergoes a full, FCRA-compliant background check conducted by a professional screening vendor. This includes:
• Social Security Number Trace
• Criminal History Search
• National Criminal Database Search
• National Sex Offender Registry Search
• OFAC Report – Office of Homeland Security Terrorist Watch List Search

CPR & First Aid Certification Verification
We ensure that all candidates hold valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certifications.. This ensures that they are fully prepared to handle emergencies with calm and care.

Legal Requirements
Candidates must be over 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
