Every babysitter in our network is 21+ years old, college-educated, and has a minimum of five years of professional childcare experience. They undergo our comprehensive 7-step hiring process, which includes in-depth background checks, social media screenings, and thorough reference verification.

Before joining our team, sitters complete a professional interview with a childcare expert to assess their skills and qualifications. All sitters are CPR and First Aid certified and have completed Summit Nannies’ professional babysitting training to ensure they meet our high standards.

Absolutely! All of our sitters will send a confirmation text message immediately upon accepting your babysitting job. You can also access your sitter’s phone number at any time prior to your request in your app by clicking on your booking. If you’d like a phone consultation before your childcare date, simply select the “consultation call” option when booking for no additional fee. Your sitter will schedule a time to chat with you before the date over the phone
